Our Stories Blog post #1

I feel so touched to have helped a recent homeowner, an elderly man raising his grandchildren, one who has special needs.

The house needed repair and this homeowner couldn’t afford and wasn’t able to do the work.  I called him and made an appointment.  That evening I received a call from his daughter wanting information about my company and questioning why I called her dad.  After visiting the house, advising the homeowner and his daughter on what to do, we reached an agreement.  They thanked me on several occasions, and both feel that there were some greater powers at work to bring me to this house.

That is the power of real estate, helping people make changes that extremely impact their lives.  This homeowner is moving closer to his daughter so she can help him raise her nephew and niece.  He found another house that has a cul-de-sac and said that his grandson would finally be in a safe neighborhood and would soon learn to ride his bike.

Such a touching story and he certainly was the sweetest man.  He was so grateful for everything we did and I definitely was blessed to be able to help this homeowner and his family.
